brand new apartment on the 4th floor of a 19th century building in the “Born”
(the trendiest neighborhood in Barcelona). The restoration of the building was
finalized in July 2002 and includes the installation of an elevator that leads
directly into the air-conditioned apartment with its beautiful original wood beams.
Two balconies with beautiful flowers ,overlooking a pedestrian only street
,fill the apartment with warm Mediterranean light. The apartment offers the exclusive
use of a large fully equipped terrace on the roof of the building with a wonderful
view of the neighborhood. The apartment is excellently located in a quite part
of the “Born”, next to the “Convent de San Agustí”,
the Chocolate Museum, and a stone’s throw from the Picasso Museum and the
famous “Parc de la Ciutadella”.
The
apartment is divided in two spacious rooms. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed
and a large bathroom with a double shower. The living room with a sofa bed, leads
into a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment also includes satellite TV and a
stereo system.
Nearby attractions
All of the “Born” and “Las Ramblas” (which is within ten-minutes’
walk) are full of art galleries, designer boutiques, restaurants, bars and nightlife.
Around the corner there are many museums and places of interest. The “Parc
de la Ciutadella” (right next to the “Born”) is a pretty place
where you can walk, rent bicycles and roller-blades. Also, one can listen to open-air
jazz concerts and watch jugglers in an exciting atmosphere. A fifteen minute walk
brings you to the beach.
Miscellaneous
Linens and towels are supplied at no extra charge. Also, a cot can be provided
if needed. Animals are also allowed. In addition to easy access to public transportation,
there are public and private garages within a three minute walk.
