This off the beaten track farmhouse has a lovely setting near to the village of Torrox and enjoys beautiful views of mountains, valleys and the Mediterranean. The villa has three double bedrooms, pool etc and is located just ten minutes from the beach and thirty minutes from Malaga airport. Set among vineyards and local farms, the villa provides the opportunity to experience Spanish rural country life and also enjoy the beaches and the nearby attractions of Nerja and the coast.

General
This area, the Costa Tropical, lies at the eastern end of the Costa del Sol. It is a beautiful province with mountains and a series of lovely beaches along the coast. Inland Torrox and the other Andalucian ' White Villages' perch precariously to the sides of the Sierras, still conserving their traditional way of life. Torrox is an ideal base from which to explore this region with it's mountains, national parks and famous old towns.

Torrox Pueblo.
Dating from Roman times, nearby Torrox pueblo has steep winding streets and friendly people whose daily life is rustic and traditional. It is a village full of atmosphere with attractive squares , cafes, shops and small tapas bars. Ten minutes away at the coast is the modern beach resort of Torrox Costa and the old town of Nerja.  Here one can find more restaurants, tennis courts and nice sandy beaches offering safe clean bathing. It is this combination of old and new which makes Torrox such an interesting place to stay, offering at the same time a quiet villa holiday in the spanish countryside with the added convenience of having Mediterranean beaches nearby. For those with sightseeing in mind, there are Roman Ruins all along the coast, impressive caves at Nerja and the Alhambra Palace at Granada. The excellent climate here at Torrox and the frequent local fiestas make this a year round destination and whatever time you choose to visit you will find Torrox a friendly and fascinating place to stay.

Activities
The list is endless, during your stay you may be tempted to go scuba diving, horseback riding, sailing, walking, wine tasting even skiing between the months of Dec-May. Night life is entertaining too with a large number of nightclubs, discos and bars open at Torrox Costa, Nerja and Torre del Mar on the coast. Day trips can easily be booked to visit Gibraltar, Cordoba, Seville even Morocco for the more adventurous.

The Accommodation.
Accommodation is offered in a traditional Andalucian farmhouse which has been recently restored with the addition of a swimming pool, large bathroom, kitchen etc. The farmhouse is very quiet with an authentic rustic feel. Apart from its own three acres of vineyards and fruit trees, the house is surrounded in all directions by olive groves and small farms.  The house has three double bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other two with doubles. It has an open area kitchen/ lounge etc with a fireplace for use in winter. The house is located just outside the village of Torrox in rural countryside and is approached along a private farm road of some 300 yards. The access road includes a steep section of about 100 yards. It is a very comfortable villa with it's own pool , extensive terraces, ample parking, etc. Water at the house is of a very high quality and is fine for drinking. The villa is fully prepared before your arrival and bed linens are provided.
