This villa is 8km
inland, 2km behind Torrox Pueblo, on the mountain road to Frigiliana
and Nerja. This is a secluded and comfortable villa, sleeping 8 (4 plus
4) with pretty gardens and set among olive and avocado groves.
General
This area, the Costa Tropical, lies at the eastern end of the Costa del Sol. It
is a beautiful province with mountains and a series of lovely beaches along the
coast. Inland Torrox and the other andalucian 'White Villages' perch precariously
to the sides of the Sierras still conserving their traditional way of life. Torrox
itself is an ideal base from which to explore this region with it's mountains,
national parks and famous old towns.

Torrox Pueblo.
Dating from Roman times Torrox has steep winding streets and friendly
people whose daily life is rustic and traditional. It is a village full
of atmosphere with attractive squares , public open-air swimming pool,
cafes, shops,and small tapas bars. Ten minutes away at the coast is
the modern beach resort of Torrox Costa and the old town of Nerja.
Here one can find more restaurants, tennis courts and sandy beaches
offering safe clean bathing. It is this combination of old and new which
makes Torrox such an interesting place to stay, offering at the same
time a quiet villa holiday with the added convenience of having Mediterranean
beaches close by. For those with sightseeing in mind, there are Roman
Ruins all along the coast, impressive caves at Nerja and the Alhambra
Palace at Granada. The excellent climate here at Torrox and the frequent
local fiestas make this a year round destination and whatever time you
choose to visit, you will find Torrox a friendly and fascinating place
to stay.
Activities
The list is endless, during your stay you may be tempted to
go scuba diving, horseback riding, sailing, walking, wine tasting even
skiing between the months of Dec-May. Night life is available too with
a large number of nightclubs, discos and bars open at Torrox Costa,
Nerja and Torre del Mar on the coast. Day trips can easily be booked
to visit Gibraltar, Cordoba, Seville even Morocco if you should decide
to take a rest from driving.
The
Accommodation.
Accommodation is suitable for large or small groups and comprises of
the main house sleeping 4, with lounge, kitchen, bathroom, double and
twin bedrooms, and for larger parties an annex is available with two
twin bedrooms and bathroom. The Villa has an 8 by 4 meter swimming pool,
large sun terraces with barbecue and a pretty garden. Airy in summer,
it is kept snug in winter with a wood-burning stove. This villa is part
of a farm run by English owners, who have extensive local knowledge
and are always available for help or advice. To get the most from this
vacation, car rental is recommended.
